THEN: 2008

Every business starts with a pain point. Once upon a time, not too long ago, I watched a very interesting French movie. Though unaware of the language, I could surmise the message it tried to portray. However, I wanted to understand the character feelings, emotions, their secret moments and also what they were actually saying. There was no translation available at that time. Believe it or not, it took me almost 90 days to have it transcribed, translated, subtitled, proofread and embedded to have a good quality English version. I asked myself, “If this is the case with this classic, there would be so many classic movies, novels, ideas, articles, human interest stories, fiction and non-fiction works that the world is unaware of just because of the language barrier!” This was both, the realization of a (personal) pain point and an Aha/Eureka moment! Thus was born Gurshabad!
